About Us
Kingdom Kids Luxury Clothing is a family-owned venture led by my husband, Cameron, our two wonderful children, Judah and Eden—who are Irish twins, born just 17 months apart—and me, Sara. We are fortunate to live in beautiful Pacific Grove, California, where I serve as a Children’s Pastor at Peninsula Church, and Cameron works as the Assistant Program Director for Teen Challenge Monterey Bay at the Pajaro Rescue Mission. Although our life may seem idyllic, our journey to this point has required significant dedication and hard work.
I grew up in a church environment but lost my faith when I was taught about evolution in public school. This crisis of belief led me into a 17-year struggle with addiction, filled with tumultuous experiences and heartache. However, my life took a profound turn in 2016 when I enrolled in a program called Teen Challenge Monterey Bay. It was there that I began to reconsider my beliefs, ultimately surrendering my life to Christ on August 7, 2016. That same night I was overwhelmed by the Holy Spirit with a fire in my veins that drove me to confess my past and embrace a new life. I’ve never looked back.
From that point onward, my life transformed radically. I dedicated myself to serving other women in recovery, helping to establish the Grace Harbor Women’s Center during the challenging times of COVID-19. It was during my time at Teen Challenge that I met Cameron, who was the assistant director for the Men’s Center. Together, we committed to honoring Christ in our relationship, practicing accountability, and even waiting until our wedding day to share our first kiss. We became the McGee family on March 21, 2021. Exactly one year later, our son Judah was born, and our family of three began.
In early 2023, I felt called to transition from recovery ministry to working with children and mothers. I accepted a position at Peninsula Church and moved to Pacific Grove. The night before our move, I discovered I was pregnant with our daughter Eden, who was born on September 8, 2024. With our family now complete, I found myself passionate about bamboo pajamas, enjoying their variety of patterns. However, I struggled to find companies offering bamboo pajamas that included scripture or Christian themes.
In early 2024, I finally discovered some brands producing family matching pajamas with biblical messages, which inspired me to take action. A fellow sister in Christ informed me about the toxic materials used in bamboo production, prompting me to seek alternatives. I learned about Tencel from another Christian entrepreneur and decided to pursue this material, which is soft, durable, and free from harmful chemicals. In September 2024, I took the leap to start my own business, all while balancing my responsibilities as a full-time mom and pastor to children and youth.
I believe that family matching pajamas can celebrate our faith and honor the Savior who has transformed my life. I refuse to let Santa be the sole focus of our holiday attire when Jesus is the true reason for our existence. As I guide youth and children, I hope to help them avoid the mistakes I made, sharing my story as a cautionary tale. My prayer is that they remember at least one scripture that will help them when they face temptation.
Every day, I thank God for the opportunity to impact the lives of children and youth here on the Monterey Peninsula. Being a mother is the highest honor God has bestowed upon me, and I am humbled that God has trusted me to disciple the kids who come to our church.
Thank you for your interest in my mission here in Monterey. I hope that my e-books, guides, Bible studies, and pajamas bring as much joy to your family as they do to mine. Thank you for taking the time to read my story, and may God bless you!
